The Walking Dead (AMC)

Anyone noticing the crickets in the bagground?:O
It feels like there's a slight distortion to them after I've gotten t, I dunno!
@Tenna I know during one episode
season 4 episode 5 I think it was, when Rick and Carl were finishing off the walkers on the ground I remember noticing a lot of crickets in the background if that's what your talking about.

I see! Well I hope you won't have it in mind all the time now looking for crickets :p We only had the first episode airing here last week so far. Last year they were aired 1week after each in the US, doh! I'm not sure what to expect with the gardening turn the first episode lol, getting all my herbal tips from this program

@NeoM I just started reading them not to long ago, I am not to far into them but I know about most of the stuff that happens in them. What is on the 22nd, something with the comic? I don't really follow the comics as much as I do the TV series.

That's what I thought SueR, this season of walking dead I experience with new ears:p it's tough to tell whether they're supposed to sound the way they do they just feel slightly distorted.. Why is my focus on crickets in such great show!

The last seasons our broadcast television would air episodes 1 week after it being showed in the US. This year they're airing the third episode this upcoming week. Delay is horrible but I want it hd =)!

I was just wondering out loud if the "walkers" or "lamebrains" could have tinnitus?:wacky: BTW I really liked season 2 episode "Nebraska". The ending was both funny and suspenseful. I have them on Amazon streaming.

Strikes me at every episode how none of the inhibitors have tinnitus
With all the gunshots there's got to be a few of them with it.

I was confused about them in the prison. Don't understand why they didn't just dig a ditch around the outside and pile the dirt from it to make a big wall in front of the fence. Noise protection and a much better barrier. It's not like they didn't have plenty of time on their hands.

The best is when they shoot in small enclosed rooms in the jail lol.
Yeah there are some weird elements, it's odd too how they don't have a squad taking care of the fences - and when they do, go Michonne style with knifes etc, instead of wasting bullets? Show gets unrealistic then! :p

Ha yes, with no ill effects at all. Was practically shouting at the TV about wasting bullets, it should be a daily job getting them through the fence with a big stick. And they use so much petrol when they're burning bodies too.

It's still a pretty cool show though, if a little depressing - I definitely don't want to be in SouthEastern USA for any kind of zombie apocalypse after watching it anyway.

I found out about the The Walking Dead last fall here at TT, so I was like a kid in a candy store when I ordered all 4 seasons on Amazon streaming. The last half of season 4 is paid prorated. This past Sunday was the first episode I watched on TV with commercials and I must say I liked streaming much better...no commercials, but you have to wait a day or 2.

I did order Breaking Bad season 1, but it did not seem as appealing to me as The Walking Dead. Is Breaking Bad worth watching? I see it ran for 5 or 6 seasons I believe.

We just started breaking bad, got netflix free trial so we could stream it. It does take time to get into, we're just started season 2 now and it does feel like it could move a little faster.

Disappointed about the Abraham character. I thought he would be more muscular like the comic. I guess it's kind of weird to think of him as a bad ass when it doesn't even look like he exercises.

lol. His hair color looks so fake though.

I also can't help but lol at Eugene's mullet. Dude's "smart" but wears a mullet? Da fuq?
He utilized his advanced general knowledge to survive, and at some unknown point, he cut his hair and fashioned it into a mullet. When asked why he did so, he reasoned that it took attention off of his intelligence.

I find it kind of interesting how they have split the story into so many different sub stories and they are exploring how well the interactions of separate characters can sustain things.

Anybody noted the temporary tinnitus Beth & Noah experienced after the gun went off in the elevator hatch in yesterday's episode (S05E04)?

Reminded me a lot of mine.

Anyhow, this season has been pretty great so far.
