So I'm not sure if it is forever or not. It is just ending the 3rd day and the intensity varies a lot. I would like to talk to some people with experience with this. I hear a near constant high pitch ring, it vanishes occasionally but for a very small amount of time (non-stop on day 1, day 2 I would get 10 second breaks every so often, day 3 there were a lot of breaks within a short period of time and the longest lasted several minutes and was followed by about a half hour of barely hearing it, it is currently intense again but was reduced seconds ago) .
I notice when I get close to sleep I no longer hear it but I get a pulse across my head or stomach that wakes me back up. I watch YouTube videos to help myself sleep (no headphones) and if I listen to the frequency I hear (8 kHz is pretty close) then the sound tends to stop for a bit (I do not count breaks I trigger as one of the breaks I previously mentioned). It is primarily in my left ear, the right pretty much never does anything (if it does then there is no annoyance and it lasts seconds before vanishing). I am turning 25 this month.
Some questions now:
1 Are ear plugs good or bad to wear regularly?
2 Does it sound like it might fade away or do I have to adapt to it?
3 Anything that you would like to say? (tell me how yours started, if you are listening to me then it is only fair that I will hear your experience if you want to talk)
