Tinnitus Since

My tinnitus started in January for what seems like no reason. I went to a bunch of ER's all said my ear was fine, waited a month to go see an ENT said the same thing and sent me to an audiologist and my hearing is fine. I'm going to list my symptoms because I honestly think that this can be cured because of all the different symptoms but maybe some of you can help.

Symptoms

1. Ringing in right ear(when in quiet room)

2. Constant popping in both ears 50+ times a day(more in right ear)

3. Neck and right shoulder pain

4. Ringing gets worse when laying on my sides (worse on the right)

5. When laying down my head feels like its filling with blood (like if I was upside down)

6. Always wake up with a stuffy nose (usually goes away after an hour of being awake)

7. When switching from left to the right side while sleeping I can feel some type of liquid/pressure on my right ear.

8. Get dizzy a couple times a week (might be from lack of sleep)

9. Unable to fully pop my right ear (blowing while holding my nose)

10. Both ears feel full and a lot of pressure onto my ear drum. (more on my right ear)

Thanks in advance

Neck and right shoulder pain looks like cervical problems. Just a guess. Don't you have numb hands or tingling?

Did you have an ear infection in the past?

No ear infections

Did your ENT, test you for possible Meniere's disease?

Don't think so. All my ENT did was look at my ears and said they looked fine.

This is what I think as well. I see my primary doctor in a week and will suggest I get a x-ray

Thanks for all the replies

ENT can only see your outer ear. Not the middle or inner ear. You need ct scan or mri done to see those parts.

Hey
If you sign up for an MRI...PLEASE make sure your own bring hi quality foam ear plugs...MRIs are so important to rule out any other conditions but most facilities do not provide proper ear protection and can aggravate T.

Wow you are my tinnitus twin. I literally had all of the things you listed and just recently got a CT scan done.

1. Unfortunately I have it in both ears.
2. I am still having to pop my ears throughout the day but mostly while driving. I do it kind of subconsciously at this point.
3. I had the same thing in the beginning but I don't have it anymore.
4. My ringing gets worse when I lay down in general.
5. Ok this is one I still have but it's moresocthe transition of sitting to standing or laying down to standing. I always get so dizzy sometimes to the point of bad vertigo And lightheadedness.
6. Same here but I think this is because I sleep under the AC vent.
7. This went away after a month or so for me.
8. Yup dizziness for me too.
9-10. These went away in first month and half for me.

I will let you know how my CT scan turns out.

I would contact Greg Sacremento or Glynis, Michael Leigh, or Bill Bauer. I am new to tinnits (just less than 2 months in), but I have learned that this group is pretty good with picking up on symptoms.
Have faith, best wishes and good luck.
John
