Hello all you fine People,
I'm looking for some support. I've had horrible Tinnitus in both ears for 3 weeks now.I was having massive dizziness and trouble with my balance, the doctor thought it could be labyrinthitis.

SO I had my ears syringed out as we thought that might help. The doctor was very bad at this and it hurt a lot. And I have had horrible Tinnitus ever since.

Its constant and invasive. I have seen my ENT doctor and he said it was probably all related to an inner ear inflammation. And that it should clear up soon. BUT I don't think he was taking me too seriously and his diagnosis was really rushed.

Has anyone else dealt with this before???? I can't sleep or think straight. And it affecting very aspect of my life.

I don't know if it was from the inner ear inflammation or having my ears cleaned out.

Thank you

If you have T, best thing is to have suction to get rid of wax. I had my ears syringed but didn't cause T problems. You'll probably habituate to it. Stay strong .,, you'll get where you want to be.

I'd find a better ENT if I were you.

I have really bad vertigo, maybe you should try and get some vertigo tablets if you haven't already?

Have taken stemetil for a few weeks. but stopped as the dizziness is not as bad.

The T is still relentless tho....

Well, have you been given any steroids? As steroids can help with the inflammation and lower the tinnitus, I'd ask for it asap.

Thanks Danny, i have tried the steroids. They helped alot with the dizziness but didnt do much for the T..

i took them for about 2 weeks.

Ah, that a shame. Well, look in the treatment section, you may find something in there that will help with your tinnitus. Hope it gets better buddy.

Never get ur ears suctioned thats bad for t.. Get a doctor to clean then themselves or another option..

My friend has mild t and he gets his suctioned and hasn't had I problem...Although I do warn him, he think it's safe. Still good to harm people, even though they don't listen.

I

ive read and talked to people on here who got or worsend their t with suction..

Well, I tried to warn my friend but his tinnitus was worse due to ear wax and all he cared about was lowering tinnitus. Luckily his tinnitus is still mild, but I do warn him still.
