Cause of Tinnitus
Headphones or neck problems
My tinnitus started somewhere around 2016 (now I'm 15).

It lasted for some time but somehow it suddenly stopped.

I was free of it for few months but then I was lying on a couch with my head in some bad position and I started to hear ringing again (just a bit) but after that I got sick and it all started again.

After some time I got to a doctor that said it was probably neck related because my neck and back was very stiff.

Because I did not want my tinnitus to get worse I completely stopped using headphones but even though I stopped completely using them I noticed one day that I was not able to hear clearly.

Then it got better but now I feel like I have difficulty hearing in noisy places or understanding speech when something else is causing noise.

Sorry for mistakes I am not native speaker.

Thanks for any advice, Thomas

You're smart to wean off headphones at such an early age.
You didn't mention having your ears checked for wax build up. I would suggest starting there as it's the easiest to rectify. If your ears are clear of obstruction, have a hearing test. Your audiologist should take it from there.
Good luck.
