Tinnitus 2 Years Ago Today

Well its a day that's hard to forget 2 years ago today I got this sound in my head that changed my life. I know I have made progress from the onset of T and I'm still slowly getting my life back. My family reminds me all the time what huge strides I've taken and tho I still suffer with T I have found a way to mostly compartmentalize my T so that my family can live a happy life and not keep worrying about me. Tinnitus is such a lonely disease or illness it is not for the weak of mind and people that come through this darkness and start to live again appreciate things that we once took for granted.

For all the newbies hang in there and keep posting you'll find this forum to have some of the most compassionate people that actually care. I know this forum has been a godsend to me and has helped me a great deal. ......let time heal your mind eventually you'll start living again.

Still six weeks to go until my second year is finished.
What you wrote fits perfectly to myself.
Somehow I live with the sound, one day better, the other day worse.
I keep going for my family and for a full recovery one day.
