Tinnitus and Hyperacusis May Have Saved My Hearing...

Or what is left of it.

If I had not gotten tinnitus & hyperacusis then I would not have learned about the volumes of my activities, the lack of protection with ear plugs, and I would not have changed my lifestyle and how I treat my hearing.

I have about 7 kHz in my left ear and 10 kHz in my right ear. I will be protecting what I have left and will not engage in activities that are loud.

I have often regretted not pursuing a career in music, rather than taking the advice of going into a sensible proper job.

Then again, if I had spent my early decades making noisy loud music full time, I may have given myself tinnitus and hearing loss much sooner in life than I did, which was my 40s to 50s.

When you find the bright side of looking at things, that has to help.
