Hello Dr Nagler,
I got to the point when I started to accepting my Tinnitus and I am just trying to live my life. Yes, I can hear it but I do my best to ignore it.

I do have some stiff neck and tooth problems, but I I hope once my neck is stabilized through the the PT, all the sensations I am experiencing will go away. I am talking mostly about some tingling in my face when muscles are tight and behind the eye pain that comes and goes. (I checked my eyes and was told my eyes are ok) I am really sick and tired of complaining to my wife all the time. I feel like I keep whining about all the stuff that attacks me. Time to grow up and let it go. So I made a decision to just fight it all myself but meanwhile my parents asked me to do blood test and here we go, everything looks good except Thyroid Antibodies.
It frustrated me as l spent last few years trying to live the healthiest life I could, but it seems like no matter what I try my genetic footprint is already written and the bad stuff must come.
I am not sure yet which Antibodies I have (did not see the results yet), but I was tested positive for one of them. As far as thyroid symptoms go, I dont feel like I have any except my issues with neck and tinnitus. I do feel very health and energetic. I do exercise every day and live healthy lifestyle. I do believe I can overcome my neck issues and tinnitus, unless its not written for me.

So, I wonder could Tinnitus be related to my antibodies positive test?
Its not like I am trying to figure out my tinniuts now, I more afraid about the thyroid results and look for connection. I am afraid if I go to thyroid specialist I will loose more then win in the long run.

What are you thoughts?

thx

So, I wonder could Tinnitus be related to my antibodies positive test?

Tinnitus has purportedly been associated with underactive thyroid conditions, overactive thyroid conditions, inflammatory thyroid conditions, and the autoimmune thyroid conditions that produce thyroid antibodies. But I am not aware of a single case wherein correction of a thyroid abnormality has resulted in resolution of tinnitus. Which tells me that any such "association" is likely coincidental rather than causal.
