I'm 34. Since my tinnitus set in in late January, I have noticed the lymph nodes directly under/behind my ears are hard (like where my jaw meets my head/neck). This seems to directly coincide with the anxiety, tension, and messed-up sleep I have been experiencing. I'm working hard at relaxing, taking some herbal things for stress, and while I'm sleeping better and am really making headway on calming down, I'm definitely not out of the woods yet.

I know lots of things can affect lymph nodes, but in my poking around, I can't find any concrete link between lymph nodes and anxiety.

I have an appointment next week to get this checked out, but I'm curious if anyone else had experienced or heard of this.

Hi Bramblewood. I have ringing pulsitile tinnitus with hard nodes down my neck, anterior and posterior, with a few next to my cervical spine. I noticed them shortly after my T started pulsating 3 years ago. I suspect they may be interfering with lymph drainage or blood flow. Unfortunately, no doctors seem concerned or willing to discuss my theory. My newest thing to try is head to midsection self lymph drainage (especially around my ears). A physical therapist showed me how. You can you-tube it if you want to give it a try too. It's easy. Best Wishes to you. I know your post is from 2017. My wish for you is that your T is gone by now. If not, don't give up hope ♡.
