Tinnitus at Young Age

Hi @jocke ; I believe @butterfly75 may be correct.

I did not see this mentioned in this thread yet so I will mention it now.

@Kolisar Thank you. Yeah i have already read that post. And i think if some peapole got cured after 6 months over a terrorist bomb i can heal from a firecracker.

@jocke well I went to the doctors today and she looked into both of my ears and apparently she says she can't see anything but wax in my ears lol, so I've been told to use an ear wax removal kit so that's 2 or 3 drops for a week and see what happens

@w-drak Well for me it got worse for a while but now it is better and i can sleep for 10 hours without waking up. Going to sleep is easy. And i dont think about it during the day.

@jocke @w-drak well I unblocked my right ear and the ringing went away in that ear, and now I just have ringing in my left ear but haven't had it unblocked yet

You will cope with it. If you are lucky it'll go away, but if it doesn't go you will still learn how to manage it and get on with life. Your very young and it was just this one incident, you should be alright and the T should resolve itself. At least I hope so.

@Raphael7713 Yeah. I hope so too. I read about a terrorist attack exposion and 47% of the peapole that got T from the explosion got recoverd compleatley. So i still hope for the best

@Freeatlast Well so i went to the ENT yesterday. And she checked my ear and said it was fine. Sometimes your eardrum can take some damage but i was ok. So i am going to make a hearing test to see if i lost any hearing. But she said it can go away it will take a long time thoug like 3-4 months and i have had it for 3-4 weeks now i think so i hope for the best

@jocke mine has went down quite abit, but now I just deal with it, sometimes I forget about it because I have OCD and anxiety I'm trying to sort out

@josho771 Okay. sorry to hear that it hasn`t gone away yet. mine has gotten lower and even taking breaks by that i mean it dissapears for a minute or two (incorect spelling i know)

@jocke sorry about that, your ear drum probably just needs time to heal which can take a couple of months

@josho771 Yeah. I went to a flight show today and there was loud jet motors running but i had hearingprotection so it havent gotten worse what i can feel.

@jocke ive been to many loud things since it started, night clubs, bars etc and nothing has made it worse, just need to sort my anxiety out

@josho771 Without hearing protection? if not do it. Do not risk it. It can get worse. But well good that is has not got worse. In the begining of my T i was super scared and could not stop think about it. But i have been able to ingnore it during the day. But its hard when its super quiet.

@jocke yeah i probably should wear ear protection but wasn't thinking about it at the time, luckily it did get worse
