I'm new to T it's been about 3 weeks in my left ear that didn't really bother me. But as of 2 days ago it's louder. It feels like it's coming from my head not my ear. Sometimes I can barley hear it.

Why does the T go from different spots in my head? Sometimes it'll be on the right side, then it'll go quiet. Then it will be on the left side of my head.

Since I'm new to T what are the chances it will be temporary and return to normal?

I'm looking at hyperbaric oxygen therapy will it help?

Who else feels that the T is coming from their head?
Thank you all.

Good questions, but unfortunately nobody has any answers for them. T is still a big unknown.

This isn't going to be much more informative, but unfortunately it's the truth: nobody knows the chances that it will return to normal. Spikes often go back to normal "baseline". It's not uncommon at all.

Maybe - checkout the studies on pubmed. If you have time and money, you may want to try it, but watch out for unwanted side effects.

I used to have T in my right ear, and in the past few days, it's started "bleeding over" to the left a little, and in the past 24 it's gotten a new ultrasonic feeling somewhere "in the head". It could be because I took some Valium last night.

Thanks @GregCA ! One more question do you ever hear total silence for like a few minutes before the T comes back? Because this happens to me.

Nope, never had a second of silence since T started.
If you do get moments of total silence, I take it as a good sign: your body is able to get the proper conditions to get into the "silent state". It's hopefully converging to that state as a steady state.

I've also noticed that while my hyperacusis has settled a bit of late, the underlying tinnitus in my left ear has seemed to "bleed over" (superb choice of words Greg) through my head and across to my right at times.

Thanks for pointing it out! It comes from sound engineering.
You and I seem to be experiencing the same kind of bleeding, albeit in an opposite direction.
