Tinnitus... Did You All Get Panic/Anxiety When It First Hit?

Tinnitus comes from the Limbic system and part of the brain that our emotions come from also so the unwanted emotions seem to come with Tinnitus

I'd put that one with the chicken vs egg debate Glynis. (You are a bit of a fresh voice around here, I might look at a new avatar. The old Monteverdi is getting a bit rusty)

Hello All. New to this Website/Tinnitus Forum. I got my tinnitus on the night of April 20, 2013. The 3rd day after purchasing a 2013 GMC Sierra, that had a horrible high pitched sound in the dash, because of the electric fans for the factory stereo equipment.

I've spent the past 2 years recovering.
Did get real clinical anxiety (God dam it i can't even think about it ) the 2nd day or so.
Think i'll share my story in the success story Forum here.
Recent exposure this past week to high-powered ProAudio equipment has caused noise again. Along with getting wayy too overexcited.

So i swore to myself last night I'd find the best Tinnitus discussion on the Internet.
