Cause of Tinnitus
Chiropractic neck manipulation caused
Went to a chiro 5 years ago having panic attacks when I heard they may help with those nasty things.

Upon first neck manipulation my ears immediately started whistling, never had it in my life till that moment. Also some numbness in face that evening, electricity in head, got scared, and never went back.

Now for 5 years along with loud tinnitus and sensitive ears still have anxiety attacks and in the the last week vertigo while driving and just wanting to stay home where I feel I am safe.

No way to live. Wish I could get some answers but doctor after doctor says I am normal but I am far from it.

I really feel most of my issues are stemming from my cervical spine.

Hi @Chris Roberts
May I clarify what you meant by "electricity in head"? Did you mean a "whooshing static hissing", or literally "electric zaps"? I too am experiencing the "whoosing" kind of tinnitus when I contract certain muscles, and this started immediately after a chiropractic neck adjustment 3 weeks ago following a panic episode in December 2019. I am now thinking that my tinnitus really is "bruit" provoked by vascular issues exacerbated by the neck manipulation. I am told that this can be fixed if the underlying vascular issue can be identified.
