Hi everyone

I just want to get some thoughts on why my T may be getting progressively louder. It's been about six weeks now. I seem to hear it over most things now.

Regards
Jason.

Hi Jason,
Could be due to stress or anxiety, virus, cold weather ,wax build up ,TMJ...to list a few...
Lots of love glynis

Good chance its not louder but the pitch has changed...the higher the pitch the easier it is for you to hear it over normal sounds....mine is at 8000 khz and i actually prefer it this way compared to when i first got it..if your T is really getting louder then i would reassess what you might be eating or drinking or how much loud noise you are exposing yourself to. Hope this helps.

T can be rather unstable the first few months, sometimes it's lower and sometimes it's louder. That happen to me too, the volume and pitch seemed to changed until it finally stabilized after around 6 months.

Yeh, mine is the same at the moment Jason and we are about the same time into this journey. I'm hearing it over most things most of the time, and the H that had joined it recently isn't great fun either. Getting a fair bit of pain at the moment. And always got a sore throats with it. Glenys' tip on cold weather is one is a good one. I live in a hot climate here in Doha but the air conditioners inside are always bloody freezing. Maybe that's taking it's toll.
Where are you from in Oz mate?
