Cause of Tinnitus
I have no idea. It slowly crept up on me.
Even as a sufferer of the Dreaded Tinnitus, I can't find someone local to talk with.

People are different, and the symptoms of their tinnitus is different.

It's like a game of chess. My way of defeating tinnitus is to keep reminding myself that otherwise I'm healthy.

I'm lucky that I can just get up and go for a walk. The surrounding noises will cure me for a while at least.

If you're down? Get yourself up by going out.

Hold onto that thought Amber. Maybe our tinnitus is actually the frequency needed to contact the afterlife. Just needs a little fine tuning. :woot:

Hopefully humorous:

1. I read an article once that some people mediate specifically listening for tinnitus and feel it's the universe talking to them. Frankly, I'd prefer the universe just send me a postcard.

2. My kids love Star Wars and the series often talks about "the force" and how only Jedi can feel and hear it. So maybe we're all Jedi. ;)

That mentality is the way to go! Tinnitus is horrible, but life still offers many great things. It's all about mindset, with life and with tinnitus....
