Hi,

Does anyone else have a tinnitus noise that seems to move around? Mine started as a single tone with no variation. Now, it has become an electrical background noise with little bursts of electric sounds that go up and down in pitch.

It feels like tuning a radio as it gets closer to a station. It was easier to cope with when it was just one consistent, static noise.

For me it was a high-pitched zzzzzzzz and then after about a month became his second term for voice tone up and down, the problem is that tinnitus variable every moment

Yes, I have the same electric static movement, before my T is also constant like at the lower back of my head, now its so high I feel its above my temples or just above the side of my head or ears.

Yes, mine started as a hissing sound in one ear and stayed that way for a while. Now, it vibrates, clicks, and moves from my ears to above them, and sometimes I feel it in my teeth like an electric sensation. It often starts when I move my head or stand up, usually evening out but returning throughout the day.

I've started taking Carbamazepine, 100 mg twice a day, and will need to increase it to 200 mg twice a day, gradually increasing until the symptoms stop. So far, there has been no difference. The second medication to try is a muscle relaxant, Cyclobenzaprine, which can only be taken for a few weeks. It may help stop the overactive muscle since it works as a muscle relaxant.

At night, I use sound masking on a loop with Spotify, but this whole situation is driving me crazy.
