There's an adult cartoon show on Netflix called 'F is for Family', and on season 2, episode 4, a guitar amp is branded 'Tinnitus', as the main character's son is rehearsing with his band.

It just stood out and made me think one of the producers, or writers, of the show was obviously making a point. I doubt anyone else would really get it though, except musicians and other T sufferers.

Nice find, I saw an episode on Family guy where Lois was working at a mail place? I forget but she had roaring tinnitus and she couldn't tell if there was indeed somebody behind her or something.

Edit: Found it, it was from season 14 episode 17

I was playing battlefield doing a tank mission and couldn't hear my T, a bomb went off and the guy said, oooohhh my ears are ringing! Instantly started to hear my T again.

Reminds me of a quote by William Shatner. Can't remember it verbatim, but it's pretty much what you just said. In an interview, someone asked him about his T, and he said I couldn't hear it until you just mentioned it.

My dad has t also, not near as bad as most of us. He says the exact same thing to me when I bring it up. But he's had it for like 7 years.

I was watching an episode of "F is for Family" on Netflix, and I saw the word Tinnitus on a loud speaker in a scene...

I wonder if it is some kind of sublimal message to viewers made by the creators :)

What do you think?

What else could it be? It's a message that says loud music can cause tinnitus but they are probably thinking short lasting club tinnitus that goes away within a day...

That show was created and is written by comedian Bill Burr, who himself has T. He talks about it on his podcasts once in a while. His sounds like a mild case. He got it from playing drums since he was young.
