Tinnitus Sound That Is Connected to Your Body. Anyone Else Got This?

UPDATE:

Back from the Audiologist, I have no hearing loss.

But they are referring me to an ENT Specialist for further testing, this is in regards to the weird vibrations am getting.

My T must be induced by emotional stress.

A few hours ago before heading to the audiologist I had a minor breakthrough, I had plugged my left ear to calm it down a bit cause it was getting quite reactive, I noticed I had been getting 2 sounds...

The T in my left ear, and a "rushing" in my head that sounds like a hyped up nervous system.

The T had went quiet for a whole half hour after giving it a little TLC with the Acoustic Neuromodulation sound, but the rushing sound from that correlated with the vibrations downstairs was still heard....I feel as though that if the vibrations just stopped then my mind would relax more.

Thank you for the update!

I too suspect that the nervous system is playing its role when it comes to some cases of T.

If its the nervous system alone, or if the nervous system is causing muscle tension, I dont know.. But theres something odd going on at least in my case..

I also suspect that it could be caused by tight muscles pinching a nerve etc. as well..

The neurologists I have seen has ruled out any serious neurological condition, so thats probably a good sign though..

Please keep me updated! Ill let you know if Im able to figure this out as well.. :)

Hi,

this will be my last post on this forum.

My T is under control and I have been waking up to silence after getting a good sleep and the T is nothing but a slight "hiss" sound in my left ear during the day. So my case is defo an anxiety case.

It occurred to me recently that earlier this year I did have a moment of silence in my bedroom and could hear that same hissing sound, I always thought it was just water pipes in my bedroom wall...but there aren't any.

That was my T sound before I fully became aware of it.

I use to have other anxiety symptoms like aches, pains and racing thoughts, those symptoms actually masked my T sound, and since they've gone it's as if my brain picked up on the last lingering anxiety symptom...my T sound. And that just sent my nervous system into a frenzy, giving me a bad case of T for weeks. I knew my case couldn't be hearing loss cause I did have silent gaps.

Since my appointment with the audiologist the T symptoms reduced significantly, it was psychosomatic T, it is nothing but that faint hiss that will probably go away completely once my anxiety is gone. I can even sleep through it and right before I sleep sometimes it's not there. It's like am not bothered by it.

I have stopped taking Remeron so I can get back to normality.

And the vibrations downstairs stopped also, it was just my mind becoming hyperaware of normal sensations.

I may not come back on this forum for a very long time cause I would like to put the T scare behind me.

Thanks for all the info & support this forum gave me.

xx

Hi I am suffering from musical tinnitus and some vibration in my body since December last year it's like fluctuating. I have realized it that when I take nap it's louder I don't know when it will go away I went to doctor also but they can't figure out. Can anyone help me out. It's really making me weak. Feeling deppressed

Hi jondah, my name is Ron how did your s start do you have tinnitus or not , and how did that acoustic thing help you it seems so annoying. And how did it start for you .If you do have t

The acoustic thing will not work for everyone, I no longer suffer from T as my case was just my nervous system freaking out. I now only get "baseline" T which is sometimes audible (not loud) at night but it doesn't bother me.
