Tinnitus Spike 3 Days After Foot Surgery?

Hi,

I had foot surgery 3 days ago which involved nerve blocks and a medium level of anesthesia.

Is it likely that this could cause a tinnitus spike 3 days later? Thanks.

Yep.. I had surgery on my mouth and felt awful for some time... the drugs, the stress will dissipate and you should feel better... lots of water and flushing your system.

I'm surprised to hear that a delayed reaction spike is possible, but I shouldn't be with this miserable condition...

Nerve blocks are done with local anesthetic agents, for example lidocaine, and they are known to be associated with tinnitus.

Of course my ent said the drugs were totally safe, but many of these doctors do not know what they are talking about...so I'm possibly screwed here..

Nothing is ever completely safe... not even walking across the street.

Give it some time to get better.
