Hi all,

I've had my ups and downs with tinnitus. But I was in a pretty good space till now.

I've experienced a pain flare, possibly associated with Lyme for the past month.

During this time, my tinnitus has largely behaved itself.

Last night, my pain backed off. I had a gentle remedial massage on my upper back.

An hour later, my right ear spiked. They usually last an hour. It went on and on, so went to bed in the hope it would be gone by the morning

I had an awful night's sleep.

Woke up to loud tinnitus in the affected side, a muffled feeling, and something which seems reminiscent of diplacusis (but not sure).

My voice at times seems metallic.

Now, my anxiety has kicked in and I'm thinking of another audiogram etc.

I feel like my ear is blocked, but not sure.

Scared.

Are you still dealing with the diplacusis/tinny sound in voices?
