- Loud Noise Exposure
Hello everyone,
I would appreciate some advice. I'm going through a catastrophic spike right now that is coupled with some noise distortion (I have experienced this in the past as well, but it comes and goes. It's very bad now).
On Thursday, my class played a documentary. It was very loud, I plugged my ears with my fingers over my Tragus for the opening credits and kept my ears plugged. I left after five minutes.
That happened in the evening, I went to bed and I was fine and I woke up the next morning fine as well.
In the evening the next day I began to notice my tinnitus spiking along with the noise distortion. This also came around the time I became extremely stressed over a paper I had due that I was working on all day and had cried over(it was really hard lol).
Anyway, it's three days later now and my spike is just as severe. I turned in my paper, so any stress of that should be gone.
I'm really worried that my exposure to the movie may have caused this spike and damage.
Please advise.
