Hi everyone. So 2 years ago I increased my Baclofen to 35 mg and started getting slight tinnitus. A few months later I went to 40 mg. The tinnitus has been with me ever since. I'm going to try and taper off slowly. I have something similar to fibromyalgia, but I never had it before and I've seen threads and there is a rare chance the pharmacists have said it could happen so hoping it's from this, but this is what I'm dealing with now. I need some support.
I have had audiograms, brain and ear MRI, and examinations from my ENT. Everything is normal. I started getting spikes this year and also as of a few weeks ago clicking in my right ear. It sounds like a water drop, tick or click. It's hard to explain, but it happens several times a day. This started after my last spike calmed down. My ear also feels full. When I talk, air comes out of my ears. And when I say certain words I have an audible click in my voice. That started in November. I have also had occasional clicks from my throat or ear.
I know this is a lot, but I have no idea what is going on. I fear it is Palatal Myoclonus. I do get thumping attacks at times (gotta love ear spasms), but the clicks in my ear make me jump. Sometimes when I yawn I get the clicks too. But I do have TMJ and Eustachian Tube Dysfunction.
After my last tinnitus spike, I started developing slight hyperacusis where certain noises are too much and painful. Before I had some sensitivity as my hearing is so good I can literally hear a pin drop down the street. (I swear I have bat ears haha).
But this clicking is really getting to me. Anyone else deal with the clicking? My ENT just shrugs it off.
I already have anxiety and I really just need some guidance and support. I'm sorry for the long post, this is my first time on here, but I'm at my wits' end and I literally want to curl up in a ball and cry. I don't know if other people can hear the clicks, I hope not! It definitely is audible when I say certain words... But again, it doesn't happen all the time. Anyways, thank you for letting me vent, share my issue and I hope to get some feedback.
Thanks everyone!
