Tinnitus Since
10/2015
Going through hell these past four months...I can say that my Tinnitus is almost non-existent! First off, I discovered that I had a lack of certain vitamins (mostly B-Vitamins). This in addition to anxiety and my love of drinking smoothies majorly exacerbated the entire situation. After two weeks of eliminating all added sugar in my diet and taking vitamins (in addition to Lipo-Flavinoid Plus--as recommended by my doctor)--my Tinnitus is barely noticeable and almost completely gone! Not saying it would work for you--but it did for me!

If anyone is interested in the stuff I'm taking... here is what it is:
  • Multi-Vitamin called Rainbow Light for Men (great product)
  • Lipo-Flavinoid Plus
  • And, of course, I eliminated all added sugar in my diet the last two weeks
I should also say I've been forcing myself to go to bed before midnight--like around 10 or 10:30p.

Sugar really sets mine off as well. I eliminated virtually all sugars and starches from my diet and it quietened down a lot.

I found it really psychologically difficult to stick to though and have (mostly) gone back to my old diet. Sadly, the tinnitus has returned somewhat.

For some people, diet can really affect tinnitus!

I would never force me to go bed at X hours, because that could cause anxiety and thiking in T if you are not tired and need 1-2 hours to fall sleep. My recomendation is do excersice at evening-night and go to bed when you rellay fell tired.

Sugar doesn't affect my tinnitus level, neither does salt. I never add salt to food but will eat Pringles chips like there's no tomorrow, and I have yet to experience any difference. It actually seems to make it better the next day by a little bit. I can eat pancakes with a couple tablespoons of maple syrup, and it makes no difference. Thank goodness I don't have a tendency to put on weight. :D

The only two things that seem to affect it are yogurt and possibly oatmeal. Weird, but true.

Edit to add: By the way, you've only had tinnitus since October of last year. That's well within the normal boundaries of tinnitus diminishing on its own.
