First of all, I don't work for or have any financial interest in reliefband. I heard about the device through one of my podcasts I listen to. I briefly read about how it works and thought maybe I could do something clever with it.
Reliefband is a watch-like device that you wear on your wrist which is supposed to help with people who suffer from nausea. I believe it works by stimulating nerves on your wrist and it somehow helps with feeling sickness.
Long story short, when I place the device on my upper neck right below my earlobe and put the intensity to level 3, I hear a series of clicks which I'm assuming is the pulses of electricity and my tinnitus goes down to a level 1 or 2 instantly. When I remove the device, the tinnitus comes back in a few seconds. The effectiveness is just as good, if not better than the finger tapping trick with much less effort. The tinnitus stays at the low level as long as I hold the device to my neck area.
I'm experimenting with different locations on the face/head but I've found the most success on the neck right below the earlobe.
I thought I'd share this since I found no topics on this forum regarding this device. Take it for what it's worth.
