TMJ Steroid Injection

Having my first one tomorrow. Has anyone had TMJ Steroid Injections done before? What's its pros and cons?

I had TMJ Arthroscopic surgery done back in August and, although I still feel some soreness periodically, my jaw functions much better. I can actually open my mouth and can eat normal food.

The tinnitus has also changed ever so slightly and seems to lessen more and more as days go past...

I'm not sure if this is a result of the TMJ surgery or I'm just getting more and more used to having tinnitus. Either way the surgery was a success. During the surgery they also injected steroids.

I had it done about an hour ago. I have to see in a week the effects. Not very sure about it helping my ears though, but so wish it did. Hoping it's nothing serious why I have tinnitus. fingers crossed though.
