My dad has been seriously ill and told today by the hospital they can't do no more and only days to live and can go at any time...
As you can imagine I'm gutted and all our family are devastated...

I will pop on and off the forum but you know why I might go quiet on here for a little while.

Thank you @Cheza for your off forum support too....lots of love always to you all...glynis xxx

Hi @glynis
Sorry to hear your news. Our thoughts are with you. Kind Regards Phil

As you can imagine I'm gutted and all our family are devastated..
Most of us have been in your shoes. We understand the overwhelming grief of watching the one we love slip away, little by little, and being powerless to keep them here. My heart aches for you, Glynis. You and your family remain in my thoughts. If and when your father leaves, I wish him a peaceful journey to the other side.

@glynis

I am so sorry to hear this, and will keep you, your father, and your family in my prayers. Your tinnitus family is here for you at this most difficult time.

Best wishes and hugs always,
Karen

Hi Glynis,

Since joining this group I have been reading many of your posts and I can tell you are such a lovely, caring, compassionate and understanding person who is an essential part of TT. Your kindness and supportive responses to members who are suffering undoubtedly must provide great comfort to them and I am sure you are very much appreciated.

I hope you can find some measure of solace at this difficult time. I can fully empathize with you as I faced the same situation many years ago and it is one of the most heart-rending ... the expected loss of a beloved parent.

Sending my best wishes,
Bobbie

I'm really sorry to hear that @glynis. I can imagine how devastating that must be for you and your family. You are always very positive and helpful with everyone and now I hope you to take all the time and energy you need for yourself and treat yourself with the same care.

@glynis

You are possibly the nicest person I have seen posting on this forum. Even when you were having a hard time with your ears you still took time to support others on here and showed incredible character and courage.

What you are currently going through is immensely difficult and I too offer my full support to you. My thoughts go out to you and your family.

Sorry to hear about this sad news about your dad, Glynis. Life is eternal and if he is meant to go soon, we will see our love ones again some where in eternity. I know this for a fact and with sad experience of losing my only son at 5. Hope the good Lord will look over you and your family at this difficult time. I will have you and your family in my prayer. Thanks for being such a kind, caring and compassionate ambassador for TT.

Very sorry to hear this Glynis. I fully understand what you are going through having been there myself so recently. Nothing can truly prepare us for such things but I know that you are very strong and resilient and also have limitless kindness for so many people on this site that you have never even met. Take as much time out as you need. XX.

Oh what warmth and hope you've brought to our midst, @glynis, ever since joining Tinnitus Talk.

You've been such a blessing to all of us. Today my heart goes out to you and to your whole family.

I can only hope that this forum's members will be able to support you in these difficult days that are ahead the same way you supported us since you joined TT, although it is hard to equal the kindness, the love and the sunshine that you have in your heart, our dear @glynis.
We are near you, do not forget that in your most difficult moments.

Sorry to hear Glynis, we're here for you no matter what, and welcome you with open arms whenever you feel like you want to come back here.
My thoughts go to you and your family, I do hope for the best outcome but if it does not, don't hesitate to take support from us!

All the love,

F.
