Cause of Tinnitus
Related to Meniere's Disease.
I've had severe tinnitus in both ears for 20+ years. I was diagnosed with Meniere's Disease 15 years ago. Hypothesis is the disease was brought on by head trauma, specifically multiple concussions from years of riding bulls. While it is not completely definitive that's what various doctors and specialists, including the neurosurgeon who made the initial diagnosis.

My tinnitus is constant, it's loud, it's in both ears. Meniere's also causes "fullness" in the ears and slowly going deaf.

No cure, no help, no hope.

What's it sound like? Especially in the morning is a big question of mine. Ringing? Seashellish? Low humming?

Can't they offer you endolymphatic shunts if nothing else is working to at least keep you from going deaf?

Do you have vertigo or just unsteady?

Is the tinnitus in both ears?

What's this seashell you talking about? Got a noise clip?
