Trigger Point Injection Treatment for Tinnitus

We'd have to have some explain how it works, I'm just confused how numbing pain would solve the problem instead of correcting it.

I just read about this. Tinnitus injections in Finland are still happening. I have severe tinnitus. I need some help.

I had multiple trigger point lidocaine injections through my TMJ dental specialist. They helped the pain and muscle stiffness tremendously, but didn't help the T at all.
How are you now? Did the TMJ specialist had to re do some trigger point injections?

@1000
I had a few courses of lidocaine shots which helped the pain somewhat.
But really helped was the Botox injections. But the downside is they are very expensive, slightly dangerous & you need multiple courses. The effect wears off in about 3-4 months.

What type of tinnitus did it alleviate for you?

Who does the injections? An ENT?
