Vote for University of Michigan (Susan Shore) Tinnitus Research — Winner Gets a Write-Up

recruit some more.
I'm afraid now! hahaha
Let @Jcb go recruit now.:p

I'd like to know how Utah gave up a 300 vote lead is now down 300 in one day. Brigham #2 got 1800 votes in one day so far and has only 3800 total. Something doesn't add up.
It puzzles me...

Hahahaha you love it Once just admit it :D we need somebody like you to keep us all in check :)
You crack me up! lol... :ROFL:

Just checking in to say I'm voting!

@Watasha I'm wondering if we have to vote for all the matches in order for our vote to count???

Look at this:
STAT Executive Editor Rick Berke said the newsroom received more than 100 entries for the contest, each describing the value of innovative research published in a peer-reviewed journal. UMMS is one of 32 entries chosen to compete in the first round of voting. Voting rounds will be held weekly until two winners are declared on April 3; one will be a "people's champion," chosen by most online votes; the other will be an editor's pick, chosen by STAT journalists.

I'm thinking we only have to vote for Michigan and not the other matches!!!! If we keep voting for the other guys they'll forever have more votes than Michigan!! :eek: What have we done!?:banghead:
I better make a new video!...hahahaha

I've searched online and can't find much info.

@PerturbedDude You started this and left us?? You better be voting!? :watching::LOL:

Yep! It is confirmed. WE ONLY VOTE FOR MICHIGAN!!!!!! No other matches. Wait the 5 minutes and vote again.
@Jack Straw @Jcb @hurtingdream @GSC !!!!! :wideyed:

Will do, although I think aiding some of the weaker matches is not a bad strategy. I don't think we can compete with the George Washington University one if we end up head to head. Many of the votes of their competitor came from us. Also, by total votes, I am sure they mean bracket winner, otherwise there is no point in doing a bracket. They would just let everyone vote on all 64. So I don't think total votes is what they really mean.

To me it looks like the 'vote again' button simply erases your votes so that you can vote for different candidates if you like. The vote total decreases by the exact number of votes I've cast if I hit 'vote again'. Someone also mentioned this a few pages back.

This is not consistent with communications from STAT staff. I have seen what you speak of, but too many people are voting for there to be a good controlled environment in place to test this theory. The "results" page steadily increases.

Still voting.....

But how do we only vote for Michigan?? If I only vote once I don't get the "thank you for voting box" up

At this point I am confused. Same thing happens to me when I vote...

We're slipping!
:nailbiting:

So what should we do? Should we continue voting for all ,or just Michigan!?

I'm confused....:eek::wacky:

I think you just vote for Michigan and wait. I don't see any reason to risk it though. I am still trying to vote for the weakest links for the next round.

Ok so we'll keep voting the same way... They should have better instructions on voting.

This could have been a nice voting contest had they not made it so fucking confusing.
