I've seen a lot of people post on here about a spike or onset of tinnitus following COVID-19 vaccine and since this is also a complication of COVID-19 itself, I thought it might be useful for us to create a discussion on ways to reduce risk of this side effect from the vaccine so we don't feel like we're just choosing the lesser of two evils and rolling the dice on our tinnitus symptoms.
So far the theories I've seen others posit about why this happens from the vaccine for some folks are:
1) increase in inflammation, and/or
2) restriction of blood flow.
Any other theories, and given these possibilities, what could be useful in mitigating these effects as the vaccine is working through the body? Any feedback would be appreciated!
