There is an app for iphone called tinnitus meassure. It allows you to play specific frequency sound so you can compare it to your T.
I am not a fan of playing these sounds as I am afraid it might affect the t but I tried few times. I noticed something weird. My t is high frequency so when I play a tone of 15000hz at low volume through speaker I hear it the first time through left ear. Then I try right ear and I hear it too. But when I try again the left ear shuts and does not hear it anymore but right one does.
If I repeat after few days I experience same behavior.
It's like the hair cells shut off or protect themselves?
