Went Out for the First Time Since Tinnitus

I've had T for almost a month now and have been on the same emotional rollercoaster everyone here i'm sure has been on -__-. But last night I finally felt comfortable enough to go out and enjoy myself. My girlfriend and I attended an art show in Los Angeles that had live music, art, and food. Initally when I got there my biggest fear was the music, it was def very loud. I was feeling the anxiety and fear creep in but i decided to take everything in my control. Took a quick trip to CVS and picked up some ear plugs and went back to the show.
Should I have brought ear plugs initally?
Yes
Did I look goofy as hell wearing bright orange ear plugs?
Probably
But the most importnant thing i I feel is I didn't let my T take control of my life.

As for looking goofy , smart people have often been considered goofy
Also , big names in the music business have started using them much more frequently lately , soon it will be a trend , i predict designer ear plugs with blinking lights..

Plugs should not stick out so much to look goofy
You need to insert them deep into the ear to work well
You can try the softer macks plugs - flesh color - and put them deep inside the ear canal, no one can see anything unless they look very close
