Cause of Tinnitus
Unknown/pregnancy
So I'm in about week 4 on my t onset...quick run down...pregnant had stuffy ears and congestion...started in both ears, took Claritin now only in one ear....still have stuffy ears, especially on t side. Overall has gotten quieter.....

The past couple days my ears have been super stuffy and my sinuses hurt around my eyes, Yestrday the t spiked.....as loud as onset and high pitched. Had a really crap day. Last night treated with heat....hot washcloth over nose along sinuses. Used cool mist humidifier in room drank a bunch of water before bed and slept.

T was super quiet today...had to plug ears to hear it or go in a silent room...the pitch is not as high....there's a quiet tone and a buzz...it's gotten a tad louder but I have to admit I can feel a little pressure in my sinuses.

Is this a good sign or am I just grasping at straws here?!?

Has anyone here who got t during pregnancy ever had it go away?

Does the sound of the t have anything to do with how likely it will go away?

Don't have the answers to your questions, but glad that you had a good day. Wishing you the best and hoping that it goes away soon. Good luck with your delivery.

Hi Danika,
It's really hard to know... about 3 months after my onset, I had times where the tinnitus disappeared for a few hours / day but it always came back.
Not saying yours will do the same, but just that only time can answer that.
Given your congestion is so bad, and hopefully that or the pregnancy is what is causing it and it will go away.

@Samantha R
Did I read somewhere that they think your t is connected to headaches?

I know of another women who got hers PP and her T is connected to migraines.
