T for almost 2 years and it did get well but now i hate my live. Have a new sound, a low humming sound en it is al over my head and nothing can cover it up. Dont now what to do. I have a nasty cold and i pray that when my cold gets better the sound settle down. And on top of that i have a bruised rib of coughin.

Anxious and a little hopeful. With a bit of what if in the background. All in all looking forward to either silence or habituation.

I tell myself this to will pass. Something my grandmother taught me to use when life gets tough.

Hopelessness. Utter abject hopelessness. I couldn't believe life could be so unmanageably cruel. It's a horrible thing, T. And mine is mild. Although I suffer from other health issues and severe depression, which compounds the pain.

minor annoyance. used to dominate my brain 100% of the time. now I'd say that I enjoy 100% silence (i.e. that I'm not conscious of my T) a large percentage of my time. When I am, I am often not bothered by it. It's worst when I first wake up in the morning. Once I get up and about my day, that goes away and I don't generally have any problems with it.
