acoustic trauma
Hello! Recently I lost hearing from a bad valsalva in the right ear and from acoustic trauma in the left ear. I am left with tinnitus and balance, vision problems. The audiogram shows a normal to mild hearing loss overall and the ear doctor could not find anything wrong.

What can I do now? Try prednisone? Pressure chamber?

Any experiences with something similar? Will I ever become normal?

Sorry for the boring first post.

How long ago was your hearing loss/acoustic trauma?
For many existing treatments (prednisone, HBOT), time is of the essence.

Prednisone and LLLT both can help in the acute stage for some recovery

Please mind that prednisone has to be quite a dose for it to work. My second dose of 60 taper (5 days 60) started to do it's work only 24 hours ago. And now I already have to taper down so I'm calling the ENT again before too late. So don't agree with a short taper period.
