What Kind of Masking Do You Use to Cope with Tinnitus?

What do you guys do with really bad tinnitus to cope with the ringing?

I've got an ear infection and possibly an ongoing issue and it hiked up to a very loud noise a couple of days ago.

Before it was manageable but now I can't sleep and it's really affecting me mentally.

Any tips on what you use?

I work 8-10 hours a day in an office doing computer programming stuff. I run this most of the day.

@ClubRacer It depends the pitch of your tinnitus. I have high-pitched tinnitus and I listen to the sound of crickets. It works for me, been using it for years.
If you don't have a sound machine, consider one from Sound Oasis. They have a variety of machines available for purchase either online or at most pharmacies.

@ClubRacer Mine is unmaskable. Multiple tones all over 13000hz. I'm suicidal every morning at the thought of getting through another day BUT I sleep alright so you can absolutely do it. I use heavy rain and and focus on it through the screaming T if that makes sense. Trust me before this I couldn't even handle light snoring in the same room.
