What Other Symptoms Do You Have?

Tinnitus Since
2012
I'm interested to know what bothers us most, the incessant noise of ringing/buzzing/humming etc, or whatever other symptoms that this monster presents us with and which you may have.

Personally, I have reduced hearing, ear fullness sometimes, congested feeling, balance a bit weird (I don't have meniers), hollowness, facial numbness and moderate to severe buzzing.

I've had all the tests, I just have to adapt to each day as it arrives, if I sleep on the deaf ear, I'm in trouble the following day with any or all of the above.

For me, the noise is not as bad as the rest, it's very annoying, but just a noise....

So fellow tinnitus bearers, what's worse?

- loud T in both ears, always changing
- ear pain (almost constant, very strong when a moderate to loud noise strikes)
- ear fullness every day but not constant
- hyperacusis
- hearing loss (- 60dB at 6hz, less at other frequencies)

The hardest for me is T + H.

Ringing in my right ear which fortunately, comes and goes. Never knew of the exact cause, but I'm starting to suspect that earwax could very well be the cause.
Currently having my right ear quite blocked by wax, to the point I can't hear well in my right ear currently.
I have coped with the ringing quite well as it isn't always there. What scares me most though, is fleeting T. Could come at any moment, last as long as what seems like a couple of minutes, at any frequency it wants to be in. Fleeting T even affects my generally healthy left ear too.

*cracks knuckles* WHERE DO I START?
- Reactive T
- Hyperacusis
- Weird ear drum vibration
- inner ear muscle spasms (TTTS) and fullness
- hearing distortion? Idk some sounds have like a broken speaker effect when I'm listening to videos on my iPad .. Don't know if my ipad that has an actual broken speaker or if it's just my fucked up ears. When I rewind the certain part that I heard the effect from I sometimes don't hear it.... Idfk.
- Anxiety/depression of course
- and bad tmj on top of alllllll of this
I can't figure out what's worse because all of this is pretty shitty.

Ever changing extremely loud to extremely low T (mostly extremely loud)
Ear fullness
Itchy ears
TMJ
Banging ear drum
Buzzing
Facial numbness
Ears just feeling weird
Fear of going deaf
Varying hearing which scares me
Screaming T of course of ever changing tones and noises .
Depression
Anxiety
Inability to concentrate.

This horror has destroyed my fucking life. Before this I could understand rapidly spoken Spanish after learning for two years as a hobby , now I struggle with basic Spanish because I just cannot concentrate.
I hardly read anymore.
I hate T !

Yes, headaches are part and parcel of mine too, as is distorted hearing in my right ear, the one that went 100% deaf, when hearing returned to a degree, it's very distorted, think Donald Duck...

I think after 4 years the anxiety and depression are fading, I just feel fed up, and like @fedup cant concentrate, which is just what we need to do, concentrate on a hobby, job, anything to distract, but just can't.

Reading the replies, it seems the tinnitus noise isn't the only thing we put up with, thought it was only me had the other things...

- used to have ear fullness, but now it is fortunately gone
- tinnitus itself ("poisonous" high pitched hisss tone - half sonds like in ear, but more like inside head)
- hyperacusis
- reactive T
- inability concentrate
- depression
- anxiety
- hearing loss - so i often can't recognize speech (sometimes i consider this to be a bigger problem than tinnitus is, sometimes vice versa, depends on situation. It's like being on a see-saw.)
