not a lot, I'd imagine? Reagan had the first signs of alzheimer's while in office; Bill Clinton has mild/moderate tinnitus.

The research wheels are already greased and spinning to the tune of millions of dollars a year. One more high profile case of a non-terminal disease isn't going to change the equation.

I read somewhere Reagan also had Tinnitus, he had a special fitted ear device that was "revolutionary" for it's time.
