Cause of Tinnitus
Noise
Until quite recently I have found Tinnitus Talk to be a cosy chatty place.
Somewhere to come and have a natter.

For a few days now I have attempted to connect with a few friends to do exactly that, but to no avail.

Perhaps I have been able to graduate to everybody's 'ignore list?'
I wouldn't be surprised.

However - I don't give up easily
- so I'll just say:

"Hello World
- is there anybody out there ??"

Tinnitus tires people out. The noise is hard to deal with. :(

Every morning I look at the pictures you've posted and I love them but I don't have the "energy" to chat...

@Jazzer,
Aww!!! love you my dear friend,

Dear @annV
Bless you for coming back.
I do understand - I must be different - the noise makes me wish for the shared comfort of closeness - a bit like holding hands I suppose.
As long as you haven't had me Ostrich-sized!

Looking great Dave, but you might want to ease up a bit on the aerobics.

Jazzer, I don't look at the site near as much as I used to. But when I do I always check to see if you have posted any more neat pictures.

As far as the rest of the site, we all have this T. So far there is no cure. The Support section is just the same old whining, and I just can't read it much anymore. I've been chastised for my feedback. I think they think I'm insensitive.

Hi Jazzer

I'm new to this forum, as in actively talking on it but I would be more than happy to be here for a chat, if there's anything I can help you with, or just fancy putting the world to right's and vice versa.

Hi MickSmith72. I am new to this chat room, and hoping to talk to others suffering from tinnitus and hyperacusis. I had tinnitus for many years, however it did not have a real impact on my life, I didn't like it but I lived with it. I went to a new consultant of whom I was referred as my other consultant was relocating. I saw the new consultant for my routine clean, and this is when my life changed forever! Was this 'Lovely lady' used on that day for what should have been a routine clean! do these people have secret codes between themselves in referral letters...

Hi All,
No one appears very chatty, it is hard with T & H because you don't always feel like talking. However, it does help in connecting with people, who are suffering in the same way, and the support that we can give each other and gain from each other. We then know that we are not alone. But if people do not respond then there is no support.
Best wishes to all.
