Who Here Owns Cats?

I'm always picking them up to cuddle them, and sometimes I might whisper to one of them, "I'm a bit noisy today sweetheart," and they just look at me as if to say "I know dad."
That probably sounds absolutely crazy, but that's how I am.

That is sweet and I understand. I had a dog who was adopted after being abused. I would talk to him like he was a person about my pain. He would never let anyone touch him. Except one day after our evening walk and being chased home by some big mean dog we came into the house and sat on the sofa. First time ever he put his paw on my leg. We both seemed to understand each other.

I'm not a cat person at all as prefer dogs... but they look so magnificent in these pictures, it kinda makes me want to get a kitten?!

@Starthrower - Beautiful story.
Critters are just the best xx

Tbh I think the cat would bully him, he's so mild tempered and just wants to sit next you or chase his tail.

Hi @TiredOfT - beautiful puss.
I love tabby cats - my first ever was a tabby.
I had a lonely childhood, so I told "Timmy" everything that was happening in my life.
If he ever got tired of it, he never let on.
I think he saved me.....x

My husband's name is "Tim". I tell him everything. He doesn't get tired of it either. ;) And yup...he saved me, too.

&TiredOft - that is a beautiful tribute you just gave to your husband.....you've got absolutely the right guy eh? Lovely.
I have to tell you, mine is a similar story.
My Sylvie is just a dream woman.
I am incredibly lucky.
Best wishes xx

I have a cute calico mostly white with black patches on her body with some brown on her face. I had her a long time. Three years ago she had hyperthyroidism and she had the i - 131 radioactive treatment. Then she developed hyp0thyroidism for a short time afterwards and with that she became deaf. I'm not sure if she developed tinnitus from hypo as well. She likes to bury her head and often pushes her head against my legs or a pillow. It may be just be due to being deaf. I pat her a lot as touch helps a little to offset not being able to hear.

I really like this thread @Jazzer and all the cats.

I want to get a cat again but was waiting to see if I have to travel for T treatment to the UK. But they sure are therapy and I wish I had one the last year of hell..but it won't stop me dreaming...theres always the future... Be great to have about 10! All different personalties! Was a dog person and cat but cats entertain so much if theres more than one! There cool to watch them play..

Percy on the dayI went to choose him from a litter of eight.
They were all beautiful, but I photographed him to make sure that the breeder could not switch him for one of the others.
His inquisitive personality shone through as, star quality.

"Are you going to be my new dad?
Please take me home."

I was powerless - just powerless.......

I'm a massive cat lover. My family always had cats when we were kids.
My partner and I had a beautiful ginger tom called Jasper for 21 years. We never replaced him, but I'd love another one.
