I'm not sure if every tinnitus sufferer's ears crackle or if it is just some cases?
I've had tinnitus 5 months now with no explanation, yet that seems to be case with many people, no clear cause for your tinnitus...
So why do my ears crackle? When I mentioned it to my ENT, he just said it's air passing through and I should be thankful they still do that and pop.
My thought is something is inflamed and that's why they do? So maybe if I can get the inflammation to go away, the ringing would stop as well?
My ears feel full and crackle at the slightest movement.
The shower still masks my tinnitus out so I guess it's not as loud as some other people's.
I have issues getting my ears to pop. I went on a 4-hour car ride the other day and it was very uncomfortable. I'm afraid to ever get on a plane again.
