Why Is It When I Properly Yawn, I Can Get My Ear to Ring?

Hello,

I notice that sometimes, when I yawn, I am able to make my affected ear hear some ringing. This seems to be especially true if I really yawn as if I'm sooo sleepy.

But when I try to simulate a yawn by opening my mouth and breathing through it, I can't seem to get the same ringing to happen. What does this mean?

I should also add that sometimes, I get the same results while burping.

I have ETD and I experience this symptoms in my left ear.
Exactly same symptoms. 100%
I hear very loud tone every time I yawn (genuinely and not just opening my mouth).
Audiogram showed conductive hearing loss in left ear when tinnitus started.

Well I always wonder about that too, when I yawn my good ear will get a ring and go away too. I am afraid to yawn dude. Blowing my nose does the same thing. In only my good ear.

I have ETD and conductive hearing loss too(according to the Weber test, at least). Does your conductive hearing loss affect your T?

The audiogram shows no loss right now, but ENT said that I have bad response in left ear to some fork test on 125 hz.
Weber test came back normal.
Sometimes I hear low pitch (sub 50 hz) vibrating generator in left ear. It comes and goes and sometimes it can be very loud.
All of these things point to ETD with conductive loss at lower frequencies.

Oh and the tone when I yawn might be very quiet sometimes.
Right now low pitch tinnutis is barely present and the tone from yawning is mild
I think it's all connected together to ETD.

I also have TTTS

My hearing test results had a number "55" in a table for my right ear. What does that mean?

I also suffer from ETD, but a test for my eardrum reflex/reaction(whatever it is called) turned out fine. So I don't seem to have TTTS. It most likely is Stapedial Myoclonus, since my ear reacts to some sounds as well.

My guess is it's related to the tensor tympani... when I yawn, my eardrums definitely stiffen up and I can't hear much except some roaring and a "wind sound" as I am exhaling.

areas of the audiotory brain are hyperactive during yawning due to the trigeminal nerve linking them, I believe.

It's funny how Susan Shore actually did answer this question, but I forgot it.
yet the forum once again is in the total dark asking the same questions.
