Winter Related Tinnitus Spike?

Hi All,

I've been on this forum for a year and a half now. But I just needed to vent and to ask a question.

For the past few weeks my tinnitus just seems out of control I live in New England and the weather here has been going from snow to cold to warming up. Also I am sneezing more with congestion. The spike I'm in sucks more that my daily sound. Does anyone get this way as well? Have not been on the forum in months but just in a bad spot right now

When you have a cold T usually spikes. Only a temporary spike

Cold can spike tinnitus.
Keep a hood up or hat on when out in the cold.

I always seem to be able to handle my tinnitus better during the summer months when I'm outdoors a lot. Being indoors makes me concentrate on it more possibly making it worse. Just a suggestion.
