Hi all, I just finished recording our interview with Prof. Rauschecker. I must say it was a great experience. We talked for 75 min and managed to cover many of your questions. He agreed to answering any remaining questions later in writing.
We talked about his own tinnitus and how this experience has informed his research. We talked extensively about his theories on tinnitus brain mechanisms. We also touched on the lamentable lack of funding for tinnitus research, and how patient communities can help to make a difference.
He's really a super nice guy, and obviously passionate about finding a cure.
Personally, I found it a highly enlightening and inspirational conversation. We'll keep you posted on publication and hope you'll all tune in to listen!
