Hi all,

So who are your top 10 favourite actors?

Mine are as follows.

1) Sylvester Stallone (my dad's favourite, my dad passed away when I was 8 years old so I have fond memories of watching Rambo and Rocky with my dad and love watching Sylvester's new movies as I think of dad)

2) Johnny Depp (I know some people don't like him after the whole thing with Amber Heard but I still love him as an actor and I'm gonna put it bluntly I am so fed up of people saying bad things about Depp but yet now one brings up the fact that she was arrested for beating up her ex girlfriend before she got with Depp, to me it's like the Depp haters are saying he should not be Grindelwald (in the fantastic beasts) because he supposedly assaulted her but it's OK for her to beat up her ex and still be in Aquaman. I don't understand why Depp gets so much hate because of it but no-one ever mentions that she did the same thing and yet it appears it's ok for her to do it but not Depp.)

3) James Stewart (love his movies)

4) Benedict Cumberbatch

5) John Wayne

6) Will Smith

7) Denzel Washington

8) Robert Downey Jr.

9) Ian McShane

10) Ron Pearlman

So who are your favourites?

Great list!

Me...

Christian Bale, mostly because of American Psycho.

Arnold Schwarzenegger. Obviously not a great dramatic actor but acting is also personality and Arnold has the biggest.

Sylvester Stallone, talented man.

Denzel Washington, because it's Denzel.

Bill Paxton, RIP, always stood out and was hilarious.

Naomi Watts, brilliant actress.

Michelle Yeoh, much respect.

JCVD, I've always loved that guy and the JCVD film was incredible.

Julia Garner, as Ozark is one of the best series I have watched in a long time and she absolutely kills it in that show. She will be a big star.

Jake Gylenhaal. Brilliant actor.

Bonus: Ryan Gosling who has impeccable taste in picking good scripts.

I love Christian Bale too, he's my favourite Batman, never liked anyone but him as Batman. Another one of my absolute favourites that I did not include as can't think about him without crying is Heath Ledger. He was an amazing actor and his portrayal of the Joker was just breath taking. I always have hated the Joker as a character but when I saw the Dark Knight I loved the Joker and I did not know it was him playing the Joker until the credits rolled.

Grace Kelly, Mary Tyler Moore, Audrey Hepburn, Sarah Jessica Parker. I always wanted to be elegant and graceful like mary tyler moore, beautiful like SJP, kind and graceful like Audrey, and perfect femininity like Grace Kelly. I visited Grace Kelly's burial chamber in Monaco...so much beauty....*sigh*

beautiful like SJP

We've not met and you could be a 55 year old truck driver.....but going by your array of glamorous photos I would say you undoubtedly have the edge on SJP every day of the week.....Just sayin.

In no particular order:

Sigourney Weaver (Queen!)
Helen Mirren
Meryl Streep

That's it for the female part. Lots of talented female actresses, but very few REALLY GREAT ones, and those 3 are the top for me. They stand out compared to all others

Now male:

Morgan Freman (A god!)
Brad Pitt
Leonardo Dicaprio
Jack Nicholson
Tom Hanks
Anthony Hopkins
Gary Oldman
Johnny Deep
Harrison Ford.....

......I could go on! There are many oustanding male actors. Men are just overall better actors in my opinion.

People always told me that Wonder Woman was the most badass female hero ever created....uhhh have you met Ripley??

It's hard to say, but there's a bunch of actors I really like. Here's my list.

10) Morgan Freeman
9) Clint Eastwood
8) Tom Cruise
7) Ronald Reagan
6) Adolf Hitler
5) Gargamel
4) Zone-tan
3) Shaggy
2) The red M&M
1) Brad Pitt

I see what you did there.

I think Leonardo Dicaprio has gone a really long way as an actor...he wanted that academy badly lol. Marion Cotillard was exceptional in la vie en rose...she's not a hobbyist actress for sure, pure skill and talent...and so beautiful in real life.

Hmmm

10. Milla Jovovich
09. Jim Carrey
08. Vera Farmiga
07. Anthony Hopkins
06. Tom Hanks
05. Morgan Freeman
04. Clint Eastwood
03. Johnny Depp
02. Famke Janssen- she is so good looking :)
01. Harrison Ford

I love reading everyone's favourites, there some I can't believe I did not say some of the actors you have all said but I did say top 10 so that's why I did not mention them but, Tom Hanks, I watch every movie he makes, Harrison Ford I love, and Tom Cruise.

I'm also really happy to see that there is still love for Johnny Depp with the slack he's getting recently. I met Depp when he visited great Ormond Street Children's Hospital dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow, he was such a sweet gentle man and spent hours with the children and was happy to take photos with them, parents and staff. I was there on work placement and I got a hug and he laughed at me as I was more excited to meet Captain Jack than Johnny Depp

He was just a fantastic guy and that's all the proof I need to know he could NEVER do what she alleges. He's a truly inspirational man, for me it was watching the kids faces light up when they saw him.

1. Christian Bale (I don't think i have seen an actor display so much talent. The diversity of the roles he plays :O , check out the difference from "The machinist" to "The big short")
2. Nicole Kidman (did an incredible good job in "The human stain")
3. Al Pacino
4. James Gandolfini, rest in peace.

the best performance I have seen by an actor/actress was by Charlize Theron in Monster. And the visual change is astonishing. Its not just weight gain. But her facial structure, her eyes. Just something about it. could be incredible make up but I can barely see the same person when I see her in that film. especially when you compare her to her other roles. like she transformed down to the very core.

Jack Black
Leonardo DiCaprio
Kathy Bates
Gwendoline Christie
Ryan Reynolds
Robin Williams
Sarah Paulson
Lupita Nyong'o
Dustin Hoffman
Sir Ian Mckellen

...And they aren't actors but if Sir David Attenborough and Neil DeGrasse Tyson are in anything I will probably watch it.

I had more I wanted to put on this list but it was getting really tight.

People are complex. Our heroes are flawed. I've become wary of celebrities lately but, shrug. My personal belief is all people are scum if you strip them down. Not an optimistic belief but in the end aren't we all just out for ourselves? Is love kind or is it selfish?

Regardless, there is no shame in loving the art for what it is.

Hmmm....
Jodie Foster
Johnny Depp
Marion Cotillard
Sheldon from Big Bang Theory....not sure of his name, Jim Parsons?
