  • Might have lost hearing in right ear, but not sure the cause. It's been days. I've been very careful lately, so what happened? Stressful.
    CRGC
How much hearing? I'd try and get in touch with an ENT asap if I were you
    Artemis2K
@CRGC Not very much. Five decibels. I would be going to an ENT but I cannot afford to right now. Have to stick to my supplements and hope they do something. I haven't felt sick, don't recall loud noise, and don't listen to too high of volume.

I think a fluctuation like that has good chances of sorting itself out. Good luck!
It seems that if I expose my ears to music at even ~70 decibels for too long, I start having noticeable tinnitus. Sigh.

I usually don't go into 70dbs noise without my musician earplugs. At least a 10db filter.

I need earplugs if it's any louder than 60db
Tinnitus and uneven hearing loss again. Annoying. However, I haven't had any issues in a long time. Just have to make sure I'm more careful.
My tinnitus is back to unpleasant levels again. I also still have that pinch feeling in my left ear that never goes away. How annoying.
I really wish my ears would make up their mind on being tolerable or not. Particularly my left ear lol...
Sometimed tinnitus gets annoying as heck, sometimes I rarely notice it. Seems that it only ever gets bad after trauma.
Avoiding loud noise and taking antioxidants that are anti inflammatory does actually help. Base tinnitus stays the same, but less spikes.
Oh, also the tinnitus isn't as bad. So, that's good. If Hough Ear succeeds I should be able to get my life back at full. I can wait.
Been more careful with ears, & as a result hearing has consistently been around 10 db HL at several frequencies... Yet sometimes 30 db? Odd.

Were these from an audiogram? Can audiograms get better sometimes? I have a notch too very mild but it's there, probably from years of headphone use,but at least my right ear is completely normaly left ear has a mild notch
I took an app hearing test. It's not that bad. The tinnitus is still annoying, but not awful. But why does left ear feel weird all the time?
I no longer believe the curcumin is helping, nor the other supplements. The tinnitus is nauseating. Hope it calms back down.

It made such a huge difference for me for 2 weeks straight, until I got spike higher than anything I ever experienced. It finally calmed down after 5 days, but haven't taken curcumin since then.
    Artemis2K
Don't get me wrong, it's helped me in other ways, so it's definitely good for me. Unfortunately, however, it just hasn't helped my tinnitus.
Taking a lot of supplements lately. Need to work on moderation. I want to protect my hearing better.
    Jack Straw
    What supplements you taking?
    stacey
    Same question as above
    Artemis2K
Curcumin, Magnesium, Vitamin D, Vitamin K12, and NAD. The Vitamin D and K are for deficiency.
    Can't sleep. Depressed. Ugh.
    OnceUponaTime
:( Sorry you can't sleep Artemis. Are you taking any meds or remedies? Hang in there, ok.
    Artemis2K
I took melatonin. Doesn't help when my mind's racing. Family issues were on my mind like crazy.
Yo I didn't know pistachio nuts had so many calories in them. I had like two cups worth. Daaaaamn.
Deer antler... supplements... for IGF1? Ehh? Weird things I learn Googling. Oh, apparently it's banned in sports. Huh.
Hi everyone. Sorry I'm not on here much. School sucked away my time. Hope everyone is well.
    Auron
That's a good thing.I wish I would spend less time here.Hope all is well.
    victoria9273
    I hope you are well.
Last night the Tinnitus was unbearable, but now it's better than it has been years... What. Maybe the supplements really are working.
Artemis, how long have you had this? Do you have Hypercusis? Do you get clicking sounds when you swallow?
Keep posting on your progress? Hope it mellows asap
    Artemis2K
That feeling is gone. Earlier I also had some pulsing, but I am not sure what caused that. Not sure what you mean by clicking sound. I don't think it was hyperacusis. I've been playing games more than usual, and haven't really stopped. It wouldn't have gone away if it was hyperacusis. Maybe I had the volume too high at some point and didn't realize it.
What's that feeling where it feels like you have a fever in your ears called? Like, you have pressure in the ears and an ache?
