  • Wow I cannot believe there are 60 year olds with super healthy auditory systems that can rock out to music, yet I'm 24 with severe T.
I feel like with reactive T, it's making me even more deaf as it's even harder to talk to people now as it interferes with conversation
I don't get it why do some people rate their tinnitus as "severe" but then they say hearing aid maskers mask it?
I've had coworkers get frustrated cause I couldn't hear them cause I occasionally turn my hearing aid off on break but reactive T is bad.
I'm envious of those who have no reactive tinnitus and dysacusis. Habituation would a possibility in those cases.
Ugh I have a sharp oscillating tinnitus noise that is one of my worst. A high pitch kinda loud eeeEEEeee eeeeEEEeee whistle.
No offense but why do people with mild tinnitus think their life is over if they can still watch tv and listen to music? Some of us can't.
Anyone else aware of their dysacusis or reactive tinnitus every second of the day? How do you cope? It's exhausting...
Seeing people on my Facebook posting pics of going to parties and eating out makes me pray I'll get to do that again someday...
What do people with debilitating tinnitus do when they can't listen to music? How do you get through the days when tinnitus hates sound?
