You know I just realized something. I haven't had wet snot in a long time. It has been dry for years with almost always a congested nose. Ever since I got hyperacusis perhaps. Anyone else in a similar boat? I am starting to think that I miss a lot of fatty acids.

When I used to smoke, it always made my tinnitus worse. Glad I quit.

Just want to see how many have this relation. My hyperacusis is worst when my nose feels clogged. I always had sinus problems though so it could be something that started to become a problem after time? Maybe.

Anything I could do about this specific thing? To me this has been the most annoying part about hyperacusis. Good news is that it used to be way worse so I guess little by little it has been improving. Couldn't even listen to low volume before my ear would go crazy.

This only happens for the right side of my nose and ear. Does anyone experience the same and what could this mean and lead to?

My thing is that my ear reacts and changes in hearing from particular sounds. It just changes as if it lost its calibration.

More often have my ears gone to a regular state since some time. Seems hearing becomes less distorted every day.
