Getting a "Quiet MRI" today. However, they said it's up to 101 db so wish me luck. I brought MRI safe earmuffs although they aren't allowed.

I finally got my custom molded ear plugs today with -15db and full blockage but only one of them fit so I had to get a remold.

Same going on 2+ months for me. Fans, car engines, AC, air planes, etcetera all give me distortion sounds. Even some voices. I wish I knew what caused it. I do have eustachian tube dysfunction and head pressure. I have a brain MRI this week. Hopefully it goes smoothly. Best of luck.

So I have no choice but to do a brain MRI with contrast to check for Multiple Sclerosis. Last year they found some lesions so they want to do a follow up. I called Armonk White Plains hospital and they said it's 110-118 dB for their "Silent MRI" machine. They said a brain scan is 45 minutes...

I've definitely habituated to T but the clogged ears and sound distortions is the annoying part. Distortion about 6 weeks now.

Dang, I still have a hearing distortion. Even when watching videos of people talk it's almost like they are robotic at times.

Was not expecting the overall response to be yes. Awesome, there's hope it's just anxiety, started a week after tinnitus :)

Well that's unfortunate. The lady at the front desk asked me for my symptoms and because I didn't have any jaw pain, she said I should see my PCP first. I'll do a Neuro appointment first. I'm hoping all of this is from some anxiety I haven't yet recognized.

I definitely offended my ENT when I declined the Tympanogram test. He exited with "Don't believe everything you read on the internet."

I saw the ENT today. He said I should most likely see a Neurologist to rule everything out. I asked if he's seen people with ETD issues have head pressure as well, he said he's "seen everything" and based on my history of having neuropathy due to a vitamin deficiency last year, he said I should...

I got a new distortion sound after custom fitting but it could be because they push the mold into the ear and therefore so does the wax. I get my ears checked tomorrow since I still have the wax in my ears so hopefully the new sound/distortion leaves.
