    It was a good year before it went away, I read you don't have tinnitus? You are very lucky, I had terrible tinnitus along with ear fullness, balance problems etc it was a horrible time.

    No i don t have tinnitus.. i know! I m glad your feeling better!!!!! Hope this blocked feeling will also go away... i m taking magnesium and vitamine d right now.

    @Jason C 1,5 years ago i recoverd and i went to a bar on friday with earplugs and on monday i started feeling the fullness and tightness again.. will it take 3,5 years to recover again?? :-(

    Hi Jason, just want to say thanks - your story is giving me hope. As I seem to be in the exact same situation with acoustic trauma and Tinnitus being reactive and being lowest in silence, hope to get to the same point eventually and post a success story.

    Hey @Jason C sorry to bother you, you probably don't want to be reminded of these events anymore. But do you remember in which way your T went away? - as in, did it slowly fade until it was no longer there, or did you wake up one morning and it was just gone?

    Hiya, The tone changed into a higher tone that seemed to get higher and higher until I couldn't hear it any more, the distortion in sounds eased and hypercaudis faded. It took a long time though. Thankfully I seem to be fully recovered ow and am about 8 weeks away from 2 years since the event that caused it all.

    You are so lucky. How does your audiogram look like?

    Did you also have Tinnitus spikes in that 12-18 month range?

    Audio gram up to 8k is fine, all within the 20db range, I know from my own tests however that my left ear cannot hear past 15k yet my right ear can hear past 16k.
    For the first 12 months I had a lot of spikes, good days and bad days. It was tough going.
